Admission Basic Eligibilities

  • Combined GPA of 5.0 in S.S.C and H.S.C with minimum 2.5 in each or total GPA of 6.00* with minimum GPA of 2.00 either in S.S.C or in H.S.C.
  • GCE O-Level in minimum 5 subjects with a GPA 2.50 and GCE A-Level in 2 subjects with a minimum GPA 2.00
  • International Baccalaureate or U. S. High School Diploma
  • Other 12 years equivalent degree (must have the equivalence certificate from Ministry of Education)
  • Engineering Students must have Math and Physics in their H.S.C. with at least B grade.
  • If a student secures GPA 2 in SSC than he/she should have to confirm GPA 4 and total GPA 6

    in order to confirm admission to WUB. In this case less than GPA 2 is not permitted for admission.

Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management

S.S.C and H.S.C

Minimum 2nd Class in S.S.C. and H.S.C. or a GPA of 2.50 or its equivalent with a total of 12 years’ education. Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Pre-University Level.

Bachelor of Fashion Design And Apparel Technology

S.S.C and H.S.C

Minimum 2nd Class in S.S.C. and H.S.C. or a GPA of 2.50 or its equivalent with a total of 12 years’ education.

B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Diploma Holder

Students having minimum 2.5 GPA in Diploma from Electrical, Electronics, Power, Electro Medical, Mining & Mine Survey, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Automobile, Chemical, Telecommunication may apply for admission.

Before Diploma, Students of O-Level have to complete minimum five subjects and out of these 5 subjects applicants’ applicant must have minimum 3 ‘B’ grade & 2 ‘C’ grade.

Bachelor of Architecture

S.S.C and H.S.C

A student must complete 10 courses for graduation that is he/she must earn a total of 48 credits. Minimum GPA for graduation is 2.50 on a scale of 4.00.

Bachelor of Media Studies And Journalism (BMSJ)

Minimum 2nd Class in S.S.C. and H.S.C. or a GPA of 2.50 or its equivalent with a total of 12 years education.

Any additional attainment above the minimum entry requirement may be credited to candidates’ accounts by the decision of the Academic Council.

At least one GPA 2.00 but aggregate GPA of 6.00 in O-Level (SSC) and A-Level (HSC) OR

Minimum Average GPA of 2.50 in 5 subjects in O-Level & 2.00 in 2 subjects in A-Level (using scale of A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).

  • Graduate in any discipline.

  • 4 years BBA, M. Com., with or without experience.

  • Minimum 2nd class in any undergraduate degree or a GPA of 2.50 or its equivalent.

  • Minimum 4 years LL.B Honours from any recognized university.

  • Minimum LL.B Degree from any recognized university.

Master of Public Health (MPH)

  • MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Physiotherapy or its equivalent degree is the basic requirement for all MPH courses. However, the courses are also open to non-medical persons having MA degree in Social Sciences, M.Sc. in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy and its relevant disciplines, Health Economics, Nutrition, Home Economics, etc. with at least 2nd Class or a CGPA of 2.50, who also may be eligible to apply.

Master of Education (M.Ed.)

A student must complete 8 courses including a thesis/dissertation for graduation that is he/she must earn a total of 40 credits. Minimum GPA for graduation is 2.00 on a scale of 4.00.
